RESEARCH EXPLAINED

Since October 2013, Research Explained has been an ongoing collaboration between parents of individuals with SVHD and clinicians to make single ventricle medical research easier to understand. Members of the SV-ONE Research Explained subcommittee help identify manuscripts that are of interest to families for creation of a “Research Explained” summary. These summaries use straightforward terms to explain the purpose of the research study and significance of the findings.
